Work in Progress

One of my January goals under my "Get Organized" resolution was to create a cleaning schedule; one that could be printed, looked at often, kept up with and adjusted as needed. So here she is:

I'm sure there's a lot of room for improvement; things this relatively young housewife has neglected. You'll notice there's nothing in the "Annually" section, even though I know there are things that I should attend to on a yearly basis. Please, please offer suggestions as to things that should be added that I may have overlooked. I feel there's more that I'm forgetting, but my mind is tired of thinking about it!

I think it looks great. Ambitious, but not crazy. chorbusters.com and flylady.net are good resources for cleaning schedules to help you refine.
Love you! :-)

Outrageous. Who vacuums??

I sometimes think that I should wash my trash cans once a year, and wipe down the washing machine and dryer. Currently they fall under the "Do Rarely and Randomly" category in my house.

Annually:
Maybe clean under and behind the refrigerator?
Wash carpets.
Clean out garage/above garage (That one maybe for Jamison)
Send Joel a present.
Cut in and mulch your gardens.
Clean the siding.

Monthly:
Trim bushes.
Clean out gutters.
Clean car!

Bi-Annually:
Rotate mattress.
Clean oven?

That's all I got. I actually jumped on here to say that the new format is a lot better on my phone, too.

What is the meaning of the gray or shaded boxes-did I miss the code?

Remember Jerry, my friend from B&W. His wife would have him take off the outlet covers and vacume/dust out of the outlet boxs every 6 months.

You should add that one!
